Getting the size right is the single biggest reason a return happens. Two minutes with a tape measure saves the whole trip.
Beds
Measure your pet nose to the base of the tail while they're lying stretched out, then add 6–8 inches. Dogs that sleep curled up can go smaller; dogs that sprawl should go bigger.
- XL — 42" L × 30" W × 7" thick
- XL Pro — 45" L × 32" W × 7" thick
- XL Plus — 48" L × 35" W × 8" thick
Harnesses and collars
Harness: measure the girth around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. If you're between sizes, go up.
Collar: measure around the neck where the collar will sit and leave two fingers of room.
Carriers
Measure two things: nose to base of tail (length) and floor to shoulder while standing (height). Your pet should be able to stand up, turn around and lie down inside.
Our backpack carrier is 12.5" L × 10.2" W × 16.3" H and takes pets up to 18 lbs.
